Beachwood High School

Is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and experienced individual to lead our football program. The Head Football Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the football program, including but not limited to planning, training, game management, and fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship and inclusivity.

Plan and conduct effective practice sessions focusing on safety, skill development, and team strategy. Oversee assistant coaches, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives. Oversee middle school and youth coaches and programming at all levels. Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that supports academic achievement and high character development. Maintain effective communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and the athletic department. Ensure compliance with school, district, and OHSAA regulations and policies. Manage program resources, including budget and equipment. Lead recruitment and retention efforts to sustain and grow program participation at the high school, middle school and youth level.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in education, sports management, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a high school football coach, with head coaching experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to the safety, well-being, and academic success of student-athletes. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and foster community support.
